From the MPLS Topology Server, the MPLS Monitoring Server also imports CLI device-access objects, polling objects, and remote ping objects. The MPLS Monitoring Server synchronizes its CLI device-access objects with the CLI device-access objects on the MPLS Topology Server, synchronizes its polling objects with the polling objects on the MPLS Topology Server, and synchronizes its remote ping objects with the remote ping objects on the MPLS Topology Server.

Note:

Currently, the CLI device-access objects on the MPLS Monitoring Server are not used.

The topology, CLI device-access, polling, and remote ping synchronizations are independent of one another, meaning that a synchronization in progress does not trigger other synchronizations. As an example, when the MPLS Monitoring Server detects that its polling objects are out-of-date, it re-imports the polling objects from the MPLS Topology Server but does not re-import the topology, CLI device-access, or remote ping objects from the MPLS Topology Server.

The MPLS Manager Configuration Guide describes how to configure CLI device-access groups, polling groups, and remote ping groups for MPLS Manager.
