The MPLS Topology Server uses the following convention to name a Cisco-based TE tunnel:
TETunnel-<tunnel name>/<device name>_<tunnel ID>
For example:
TETunnel-dev-VPLS5-t579/dev-Vpls5_579
The MPLS Topology Server uses the following convention to name a Cisco-based primary or backup/secondary TE LSP:
<tunnel name>_Primary|Secondary
For example:
dev-VPLS5-t579_Primary
For discovered TE tunnels and TE LSPs that are built on Juniper M/T devices, the MPLS Topology Server uses the tunnel names that are available in the JUNIPER-MPLS-MIB. Because no tunnel IDs are available in the JUNIPER-MPLS-MIB, no tunnel ID appears in the name of a TE tunnel that is discovered on a Juniper M/T device; for example:
TETunnel-QA-MPLSp8-to-DEV-VPLS0/qa-MPLSp8
The MPLS Management Suite User Guide describes in detail the naming formats that are used to create MPLS and VPN object names.
