Information provided by the Pending Elements list

The Pending Elements list contains three columns that provide the following information for a pending element:

• Element Name: Name of the device (probe instance) for which the probing of MPLS, VPN, or BGP topology information did not complete successfully. The name contains the assigned display name of the device.

• Element Type: Name of the probe (device type) that probes the device that is identified in the Element Name field.

• Discovery Error: Comment describing why the device that is identified in the Element Name field is on the Pending Elements list.

  To see all of the text that is associated with a particular element name, element type, or discovery error, position the mouse pointer over the element name, element type, or discovery error.
