The MPLS Topology Server discovers encapsulated VLAN information from physical or logical interfaces, CE-facing interfaces, or from PE-facing interfaces. Those interfaces are associated with certain L2VPNs.
A VLAN is LayeredOver a single VPWS or VPLS, two or more Forwarders, and two or more interfaces.
