The key attributes for BGPSession are the same as those for BGPProtocolEndpoint, except that the attribute names contain 1 or 2 to denote the attribute set for each of the two endpoints involved in the session. The Endpoint1DisplayName and Endpoint2DisplayName attributes identify the BGP endpoints for the attribute sets. “Attributes for BGPProtocolEndpoint” on page 42 provides a list of the key attributes for BGPProtocolEndpoint.

Network Protocol Manager for BGP uses the two sets of BGPProtocolEndpoint attributes as well as other attributes to diagnose BGP service, BGP protocol endpoint, and BGP session problems, and to detect BGP session events.
