Use the following steps to configure the Trap Exploder for failover:

  1. Configure the Trap Exploder service on Active and Standby locations on page 51

  2. Start the Trap Exploder service on page 51

  3. Configure trap forwarding to Active and Standby Trap Adapters on page 51

  4. Add the Trap Exploder to the Failover Manager on page 51
