To update the models defined in the data libraries, you can use the Dynamic modeling feature.

Also, the model changes are visible in the VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance user interface through topology browser and maps.

Procedure

  1. Go to https://Telcocloud serviceassurance-ui-IP.
A typical URL for logging in to the user interface from the same system on which VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance is installed is, https://10.x.x.x.
  2. Enter the user name and password.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Navigate to the Administration > Configuration tab.
  5. Click Topology Explorer.
  6. To upload a dynamic modeling file, Upload groovy files.
  7. Click Save.
Once a Dynamic Model is uploaded to the VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance, it creates and uploads all the necessary runtime configurations for the device in the Elasticsearch and ZooKeeper databases.

When data is ingested through SAM and the metrics, events, or topology associated with the device are identified, device types are created under topology. For more information about Topology Explorer, see Managing Topology Explorer in the VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance User Guide documentation.
