A Docker image is an executable package that includes everything needed to run an application. The Deployment Container is used for triggering the installation of VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance. In this section, you can find instructions on how to download and launch the Deployment Container.

Note: In case you do not have internet connectivity or have a complete isolated deployment host, use the DarkSite deployment procedure for hosting the local registry or saving the deployment image to a tar archive on jump host. For more information, see DarkSite Deployment.

Before you download and launch the Deployment Container, verify that you meet the prerequisites for setting up the Deployment Container. For more information, see Prerequisites for Setting up Deployment Container.

  1. Download the Deployment Container on to the deployment host.
  2. Launch the Deployment Container on the deployment host.
Note: The execution takes place inside the Deployment Container.
