This section provides instructions to download and extract the downloaded package and installer.

Procedure

  1. Login to the Deployment Host and create a directory called upgrade under /root directory.
    Note: Ensure that you set workspace to the following directory path:
    export TCSA_WORK_SPACE=/root/upgrade
  2. Download the latest bundle in the Deployment Host under the /root/upgrade directory and extract the contents of the package.
    # Setting up your work space directory on your host.
    $ export TCSA_WORK_SPACE=<work_space_dir> # directory for downloading or extracting TCSA Deployer package
    $ cd $TCSA_WORK_SPACE

    # cd $TCSA_WORK_SPACE/tcx-deployer/
    # ls -ltr

    Note: You can ignore the fixed timestamps, typically with an older date, seen against the files in the tcx-deployer folder. There is no functional impact. The timestamps are generated as part of a secure build process.
  3. Navigate to the deployment directory.
    cd $TCSA_WORK_SPACE/tcx-deployer/scripts/deployment/
