This section provides steps to create a parameter.

You can add Parameters to some global settings that the action refers to.
Note: By default, the tcaSession parameter is available out-of-the-box. This parameter must be updated with the VMware Telco Cloud Automation credentials against which the Remediation action must be trigerred.

Procedure

  1. Go to https://Telcocloud serviceassurance-ui-IP.
  2. Enter the username and password.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Navigate to Administration > Alarms Management > Actions.
  5. Under Parameters, click Add.
  6. Update the following parameters:
    Input Parameter Description Default Value
    Key Provide a key for the parameter. NA
    Value Provide a value for the parameter. NA
  7. Click Save.
    You can also customize the following action Parameters:
    • jiraTicket: Update the project name of the JIRA ticket by modifying the project.key field.
    • slackchannel: Update the Slack channel name by modifying the value field.
    • servicenowticket: Update the category for the ServiceNow change ticket by modifying the category field.
