Procedure

  1. Login to the deployment host and create a directory called base under /root directory.
  2. Download the VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance package from the VMware Customer Connect site under /root/base directory of the deployment host. For more instructions, see Download the Package topic.
  3. Extract the contents of the downloaded VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance bundle.
    Note: Ensure that you set workspace to the following directory path.
    export TCSA_WORK_SPACE=/root/base

    $ export TCSA_WORK_SPACE=/root/base # directory for downloading or extracting TCSA Deployer package
    $ cd $TCSA_WORK_SPACE

    Note: You can ignore the fixed timestamps, typically with an older date, seen against the files in the tcx-deployer folder. There is no functional impact. The timestamps are generated as part of a secure build process.
