This topic lists the different configurations required for accessing the Samsung vDU remediation events in the VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance Notification Console.

Prerequisites

Configure Remediation Rules with ServiceNow LCM action. For more information, see Usecase 1: Manual Remediation Rule using ServiceNow LCM Action topic.

Procedure

Perform the following procedure:
  • Navigate to Administrator > Configuration > Kafka Mappers.
  • Use the default samsung-du-event Kafka Mapper for the Samsung vDU events.Samsung-vDU-Event-Mapper

  • Configure the Kafka Collector

    SamsungvDU_Kafka_Collector

  • Configure OI Server for Kafka Event Collector.
