Automatic Dynamic Model Sync

Automatic Dynamic Model Sync functionality has been introduced in VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance 2.3 where all the Dynamic Models present in Presentation SAM will be synced to VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance UI with no user intervention. A task will be created for tracking and visibility purposes. It is an asynchronous operation.

At a high level, the implementation of the automatic Dynamic Model Sync involves the following steps:

• Dynamic Model Sync module is introduced in Presentation SAM.
• Dynamic Model Sync module is invoked from VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance while adding the Presentation SAM.
• The Dynamic Model Sync module converts the dynamic model to a Groovy file and uploads it to VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance.
• An asynchronous task is created for each Dynamic Model Sync invocation from VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance.
• A Task captures the complete life-cycle of the operation (In-Progress, Completed, and Failed status) along with other details.

Note: If there is a requirement for VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance 2.3 to be interoperable with earlier versions of Domain Managers (specifically 10.1.7, 10.1.9, and 10.1.12), the mentioned feature must be externally installed using the tar ball solution.
