Procedure

  1. Copy the CSAR file from the CSAR directory of the unpacked deployer package to your local machine used to access VMware Telco Cloud Automation.
    Note:
    • If you are using a demo footprint, then upload the tcsa-demo.csar file onto VMware Telco Cloud Automation.
    • If you are using production footprint, then upload the tcsa-production.csar file onto VMware Telco Cloud Automation.

  2. After the CSAR is copied, launch VMware Telco Cloud Automation, navigate to Catalog > Network Function and click Onboard Network Function.

  3. In the Onboard Network Function page, select Upload Network Function Package to VMware Telco Cloud Automation manager.

    Enter the following parameters:

    1. Name: Provide a name for the CNF.
    2. Upload the CSAR file to VMware Telco Cloud Automation manager.
    3. Click Upload.
    Note:
    • If you are deploying Demo footprint, then tcsa-demo.csar file needs to be uploaded.
    • If you are deploying Production footprint, then tcsa-production.csar file needs to be uploaded
