This section provides high-level information on how to deploy VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance on VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid with VMware Telco Cloud Automation.
Procedure
- Using VMware Telco Cloud Automation Manager UI, create a management cluster template. For more information on how to create a management cluster template, see Create a Management Cluster Template in VMware Telco Cloud Automation documentation.
- Using VMware Telco Cloud Automation Manger UI, create a workload cluster template. For more information on how to create a workload cluster template, see Create a Workload Cluster Template in VMware Telco Cloud Automation documentation.
- Using VMware Telco Cloud Automation Manager UI, deploy a management cluster using the management cluster template from previous step. For more information on how to deploy a management cluster using management cluster template, see Deploy a Management Cluster in VMware Telco Cloud Automation documentation.
- Using VMware Telco Cloud Automation Manager UI, deploy a workload cluster using the workload cluster template from previous step. For more information on how to deploy a workload cluster using workload cluster template, see Deploy a Workload Cluster in VMware Telco Cloud Automation documentation.
- From the local deployment host, download or copy the VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance deployment files, the KUBECONFIG file for the TKG workload cluster from the previous step, and verify the Deployment Container is up and running.
- Unpack the deployer bundle on the deployment host.
- Update the values.yaml file to match the deployment target for the VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid cluster and the footprint of the deployment such as 25 K, 50 K, 100 K, and so on.
- Run the tcxctl script to install VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance.
