Unresponsive is a root-cause problem that indicates that a system’s protocol endpoints are not responding to ICMP or SNMP polls and that connections to services hosted by the system are down.

Symptomatic events used to diagnose Unresponsive include:

  • System Unresponsive, diagnosed in the IP Availability Manager
  • TCP Connectivity Check Timed Out
  • Application Task Check Slow
  • Application Task Check Error
  • Software Service Critical Symptom
  • Software Service Major Symptom
  • Software Service Minor Symptom
