SMTP Settings allows you to configure the SMTP server details. These settings are used by the Scheduled Report Export Reports feature to send the reports through email. There are four authentication types. They are NoAuth, Basic, STARTTLS, and SSL/TLS.

Note:
  • If you select NoAuth, you need not provide SMTP Username and SMTP Password.
  • If you select any other Authentication, then you must provide SMTP Username and SMTP Password.

Procedure

  1. Go to https://Telcocloud serviceassurance-ui-IP.

    A typical URL for logging in to the user interface from the same system on which VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance is installed is, https://10.x.x.x.

  2. Enter the user name and password.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Navigate to Administration > Configuration > SMTP Settings.
  5. Enter all the details such as Hostname or IP, Port Number, Authentication, SMTP Username and SMTP Password.
  6. Click Save.
    Note:
    • You can change any parameters on the SMTP Settings window as required and click Save.
    • You can click Reset to restore the last saved values in all the fields on the SMTP Settings window.
