The VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance Deployment Guide provides instructions on how you can deploy VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance with Production or Demo footprint on VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG), Azure, VMware Telco Cloud Automation, and in VMs with Native Kubernetes (VM Based Deployment).

Characteristics of VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance:
  • Deploys on VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid cluster.
  • Deploys on Azure using AKS cluster.
  • Deploys on VMware Telco Cloud Automation.

  • Deploys on VMs with Native Kubernetes.

  • Uses different footprint options for deployment based on the number of managed devices (see the following table). See the VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance Systems Requirements section for more details about footprint options. Some footprint sizes allow you to choose either a High Availability (HA) or non-HA version. The non-HA version includes the demo footprint, which is for non-production purposes. The HA version requires more nodes as listed in the footprint specification.
    Footprint Number of Devices
    Demo Upto 750 managed devices.
    Production

For deploying VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance on VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid, VMware Telco Cloud Automation, or Azure, the maximum supported managed devices is 1 million.

For deploying VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance in VMs with native Kubernetes, the maximum supported managed devices is 200 K.
