You can use Workspace ONE Access Desktop application to deliver ThinApp packages to end users. Using Workspace ONE Access Desktop, you can assign a ThinApp package to a specific person or a group of people.

A URL field is present in the Setup Capture wizard that allows you to supply the Workspace ONE Access URL of your organization. If the Workspace ONE Access Desktop application is not installed on the desktop, when the user tries to start the ThinApp package, this URL leads to Workspace ONE Access, which initiates the installation of the Workspace ONE Access Desktop application. Entering a value in this URL allows the Workspace ONE Access Desktop application to be automatically installed.
Note: If you enable the ThinApp package for Workspace ONE Access, the Setup Capture - Groups wizard page is skipped because Workspace ONE Access manages the entitlement of users to the ThinApp package. In Workspace ONE Access, you can set up package entitlement of Active Directory users or groups of a Horizon 7 group that you create.

The ThinApp package can also be enabled by editing the package.ini file for the following parameters: AppID, NotificationDLL, and HorizonOrgURL. These three parameters must be added to the [BuildOptions] section of the package.ini file. For more information about the parameters, see the Package.ini Parameters Reference Guide at VMware Docs.

For more information about how to configure ThinApp packages in the Workspace ONE Access console, see the Configure ThinApp Packages in Workspace ONE Access section in the Setting Up Resources in VMware Workspace ONE Access documentation at VMware Docs.
