After you deploy vRealize Automation appliances using vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager, change the password of the administrator user.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the VAMI interface of the master vRealize Automation appliance.
    1. Open a Web browser and go to https://vra01svr01a.rainpole.local:5480.
    2. Log in using the following credentials.

  2. Select vRA Settings > SSO.
  3. Enter the new password and click Save Settings.

    The password is changed successfully when the following message appears. This might take several minutes. 

    SSO Configuration has been updated successfully
  4. Navigate to the Services tab and verify that the status of all services is shown as REGISTERED.
  5. Register the vRealize Business Server appliance with the vRealize Automation server.
    1. Open a Web browser and go to https://vrb01svr01.rainpole.local:5480.
    2. Log in using the following credentials.

    3. Navigate to the Registration > vRA tab and enter the following values.

    4. Click Register to connect to the vRealize Automation.
