Change the Password for the Admin User on vRealize Operations Manager

After you deploy vRealize Operations Manager using vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager, change the password of the admin user of vRealize Operations Manager cluster by logging into the master node administrator interface.

Procedure

1. Log in to the administrator interface of the vRealize Operations Manager master node.
   1. Open a Web browser and go to https://vrops01svr01a.rainpole.local.
   2. Log in using the following credentials.

      Setting	Value
      User name	admin
      Password	deployment_admin_password

2. Click the Person icon in the upper right corner and select Change Administrator Password.
3. In the Change Administrator Password text box, enter a new password for the admin user and click OK.

   Setting	Value
   Current password	deployment_admin_password
   New password	vrops_admin_password
   Re-enter password	vrops_admin_password

4. In Change Password dialog box, click OK.
