vRealize Business for Cloud requires a connection with the vCenter Server to collect data from the entire cluster. You add the vCenter Server to vRealize Business by using the vRealize Business Data Collector console.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the vRealize Business Data Collector console.
    1. Open a Web browser and go to https://sfo01vrbc01.sfo01.rainpole.local:9443/dc-ui.
    2. Log in using the following credentials.

  2. Click Manage Private Cloud Connections, select vCenter Server, and click the Add icon.
  3. In the Add vCenter Server Connections dialog box, enter the following settings, and click Save.

  4. In the SSL Certificate warning dialog box, click Install.
