When you deploy vRealize Operations Manager by using the vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager, you first create a new environment. As part of the task, you input network, storage, and other environment parameters required for the deployment.

Procedure

  1. Log in to vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager user interface.
    1. Open a Web browser and go to https://vrslcm01svr01a.rainpole.local/vrlcm.
    2. Log in using the following credentials.

  2. On the Home page, click Create Environment to start a new deployment.
  3. On the Create Environment page, enter the following information, and click Next.

  4. On the Products tab, select the check box for vRealize Operations from available vRealize Suite products.
  5. Select the following options and click Next.

  6. On the End User License Agreement page, read the EULA, check I agree to the terms and conditions, and click Next.
  7. On the License Details page, add or select the vRealize Suite license.
    1. From the drop-down menu provided through the My VMware product entitlement, select Select vRealize Suite License, select the license, and click Next.
    2. Or select Add vRealize Suite License, provide the vRealize Suite or vCloud Suite License key, and click Next.
  8. On the Infrastructure Details page, enter the following information, and click Next.
