Assign the NSX Domain Service Account the License Service Administrators Role

Before you connect the NSX Manager to the vCenter Server, you must assign the NSX domain service account svc-nsxmanager the LicenseService.Administrators SSO role.

Procedure

1. Log in to vCenter Server by using the vSphere Web Client.
   1. Open a Web browser and go to https://sfo01m01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local/vsphere-client.
   2. Log in using the following credentials.

      Setting	Value
      User name	[e-mail]
      Password	vsphere_admin_password

2. Click the Home icon and select Administration.
3. On the Administration page, under Single Sign-On, click Users and Groups and click Groups.
4. Select the LicenseService.Administrators group.
5. Click Add Member.
6. On the Add Principals page, select the rainpole.local domain.
7. Select the svc-nsxmanager user.
8. Click Ok.
