After you apply the host profile to all hosts, set the storage policy of the management virtual machines to the default Virtual SAN storage policy.
Procedure
- Log in to vCenter Server by using the vSphere Web Client.
- Open a Web browser and go to https://lax01m01vc01.lax01.rainpole.local/vsphere-client.
- Log in using the following credentials.
Setting Value User name administrator@vsphere.local Password vsphere_admin_password
- In the Navigator pane, click Hosts and Clusters.
- Expand the lax01m01vc01.lax01.rainpole.local tree and select the lax01m01psc01 virtual machine.
- Click the Configure tab, click Policies, and click Edit VM Storage Policies.
- In the Edit VM Storage Policies dialog box, from the VM storage policy drop-down menu, select vSAN Default Storage Policy, and click Apply to all.
- Click OK to apply the changes.
- Verify that the Compliance Status column shows Compliant status for all items in the table.
- Repeat this step to apply the vSAN default storage policy on lax01w01psc01 and lax01m01vc01 virtual machines.
