To enable virtual machines to communicate over NSX-T logical switches, add all ESXi host transport nodes to the transport zone for overlay traffic.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Compute NSX-T Manager appliance user interface.
    1. Open a Web browser and go to https://sfo01wnsx01.sfo01.rainpole.local.
    2. Log in using the following credentials.

  2. In the Navigator, click Fabric > Nodes > Transport Nodes.
  3. Click the Transport Nodes tab and select all host transport nodes.
  4. Click Actions and select Add to Transport Zone.
  5. On the Add to Transport Zone page, enter the following values and click Add.

  6. Click the Transport Nodes tab and wait for Configuration State to show Success.
