Before you deploy vRealize Operations Manager, verify that your environment fulfills the requirements for this deployment.

IP Addresses and Host Names

Verify that static IP addresses and FQDNs for the application virtual networks are available for the SDDC deployment.

For the remote collector group, allocate two static IP addresses and FQDNs and map host names to the IP addresses.

Deployment Prerequisites

Verify that your environment fulfills the following prerequisites for the deployment of vRealize Operations Manager remote collector nodes.

  • Verify that the ROBO vCenter Server is operational.

  • Verify that the ROBO vSphere cluster has vSphere DRS and HA enabled.

  • Verify that the ROBO NSX Manager is operational.

  • Verify that the application virtual network is available in ROBO.

  • Verify that the 3-node vRealize Operations Manager Analytics cluster is available in the Hub.

  • Verify that the vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager is operational and data collection from the ROBO vCenter Server instance has run successfully.

  • Verify that Postman application is installed.
