vRealize Automation IaaS Web server provides a user interface in the vRealize Automation portal for consumption of IaaS components. The same virtual machine also runs the Model Manager that communicates with the other IaaS components. In the design of the IaaS Web server, consider the number of instances according to the design objectives and the sizing for them.
The IaaS Web site provides infrastructure administration and service authoring capabilities to the vRealize Automation console. The Web site component communicates with the co-located Model Manager, which provides it with updates from the Distributed Execution Manager (DEM), proxy agents and database.
