Upgrading vRealize Automation introduces changes to certain endpoints in the target environment. After upgrading vRealize Automation, you perform a certificate validation by running a test connection for all applicable endpoints.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the vRealize Automation Rainpole portal.
    1. Open a Web browser and go to https://vra01svr01.rainpole.local/vcac/org/rainpole.
    2. Log in by using the following credentials.

  2. Click the Infrastructure tab and in the navigator click Endpoints > Endpoints.
  3. Perform a certificate validation for all endpoints.
    1. Select the sfo01w01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local endpoint and click the Edit icon.
    2. Click Test connection.
    3. If a certificate prompt appears, click OK to accept the certificate.
      Note:

      If a certificate prompt does not appear, the certificate might currently be stored in the trusted root authority of the Windows machine hosting the endpoint service, for example the proxy agent machine or DEM machine.

    4. Click OK to apply the certificate acceptance and save the endpoint.
    5. Repeat this step for the remaining endpoints.
