Delete the Obsolete vCenter Server Appliances in Region A and Region B

After completing the upgrade of the Shared Edge and Compute cluster components in Region A and Region B, you delete the obsolete vCenter Server virtual appliances.

Procedure

1. Log in to vCenter Server by using the vSphere Web Client.
   1. Open a Web browser and go to https://sfo01m01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local/vsphere-client/.
   2. Log in by using the following credentials.

      Setting	Value
      User name	[e-mail]
      Password	vsphere_admin_password

2. From the Home menu of vSphere Web Client, select VMs and Templates.
3. Expand the sfo01m01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local tree, double-click the sfo01-m01fd-mgmt data center, and expand the sfo01-m01fd-mgmt folder.
4. Right-click the sfo01w01vc01_old virtual machine, select Delete from Disk.
5. in the Confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
6. Repeat this procedure for the lax01w01vc01_old virtual machine in Region B.
