To distribute the replication traffic configuration on the hosts in Availability Zone 2, update the host profile and remediate the hosts.


  1. In a Web browser, log in to vCenter Server by using the vSphere Client.

  2. In the Policies and profiles inventory, click Host profiles.
  3. Verify that the configured static route settings.
    1. Click the sfo02-m01hp-mgmt01 host profile and click the Configure tab.
    2. In the Filter text box, enter
    3. In the search results, select the Networking configuration > NetStack Instance > defaultTcpipStack > IP route configuration > IP route configproperty and verify the configuration.

  4. Update the sfo02-m01hp-mgmt01 host profile for Availability Zone 2.
    1. On the Host profiles page, right-click sfo02-m01hp-mgmt01 and select Copy settings from host.
    2. In the Copy settings from host dialog box, selectsfo02m01esx01.sfo01.rainpole.local and click OK.
  5. Check for compliance and remediate the ESXi hosts in Availability Zone 2.
    1. On the Host profiles page, click sfo02-m01hp-mgmt01.
    2. On the sfo02-m01hp-mgmt01 host profile page, from the Actions drop-down menu, select Check host profile compliance.
      On the Host profile page, the Host profile compliance column shows sfo02m01esx01.sfo01.rainpole.local as Compliant. The remaining ESXi hosts are Not Compliant.
    3. Click Remediate.
    4. On the Remediate dialog box, select all non compliant hosts in Availability Zone 1, select Automatically reboot hosts that require remediation, and click Remediate.
    After restart, all hosts attached to the sfo02-m01hp-mgmt01 host profile show as Compliant.
