Add a third adapter to the vSphere Replication appliance in Region A to handle replication traffic to Availability Zone 2.
Procedure
- In a Web browser, log in to vCenter Server by using the vSphere Client.

- In the Hosts and clusters inventory, expand the sfo01m01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local tree and expand the sfo01-m01dc data center.
- Expand the sfo01-m01-mgmt01 cluster.
- Right-click the sfo01m01vrms01 appliance and select Power > Shut down guest OS.
- Add a network adapter to the vSphere Replication virtual appliance to handle the replication traffic to Availability Zone 2.
- Right-click sfo01m01vrms01 and select Edit settings.
- In the Edit settings dialog box, from the Add new device drop-down menu, select Network adapter.
- From the New network drop-down menu, select sfo02-m01-vds01-replication and click OK.
- Right-click sfo01m01vrms01 and select Power > Power On.
- In a Web browser, log in to vSphere Replication by using the Virtual Appliance Management Interface (VAMI).

- Click the Network tab and click Address.
- In the eth2 info section, configure the settings and click Save settings.
