Validate that VMware Skyline Collector appliance can access the VMware support bundle and update repositories. If your organization restricts access to the internet, configure an HTTP proxy for the VMware Skyline Collector appliance.
Expected Outcome
VMware Skyline Collector can access vcsa.vmware.com and vapp-updates.vmware.com.

  1. Log in to the Skyline Collector appliance by using a Secure Shell (SSH) client.

  2. To verify network connectivity to the external VCSA repository, run the command.

  3. To verify network connectivity to the external VAPP repository, run the command.
