After you have configured VM policies in vSphere and added segments in NSX-T Data Center, you can deploy vSphere with Kubernetes. SDDC Manager first validates your environment then redirects you to the vSphere Client where you complete the deployment.

Procedure

  1. In a Web browser, log in to the SDDC Manager user interface.

  2. In the navigation pane, click Solutions.
  3. On the Solutions page, under Kubernetes - Workload Management, click Deploy.
  4. Complete the required prerequisites and click Begin to open the Workload management deployment wizard.
  5. On the Select a Cluster page, select sfo-w01 as workload domain, select sfo-w01-cl01 as the cluster, and click Next.
  6. On the Validation page, wait until you see that validation is successful for all components and click Next.
  7. On the Review page, click Complete in vSphere.

    The vSphere Client opens at the Enable workload management wizard to complete the vSphere with Kubernetes deployment.

  8. On the Select a cluster page, select sfo-w01-cl01 as cluster and click Next.
  9. On the Cluster Settings page, select Small and click Next.
  10. On the Network page, configure networking settings for the control plane and worker nodes, enter the values, and click Next.
    1. In the Management Network pane, configure the management traffic settings.
