Prerequisites for Deploying vRealize Operations Manager in Region A

Before you deploy vRealize Operations Manager, verify that your environment fulfills the requirements for this deployment.

Verify that your environment fulfills the prerequisites for the deployment of vRealize Operations Manager.

Storage	Virtual disk provisioning: Thin Required storage per analytics cluster node: Initial storage: 274 GB Additional storage for monitoring data: 1 TB
Software Features	Verify that vCenter Server is operational. Verify that the vSphere cluster has vSphere DRS and HA enabled. Verify that the NSX-T Manager is operational. Verify that the virtual network segments are available. Verify that vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager is operational and data collection from the Management domain vCenter Server instance has run successfully. Verify that you have the completed Planning and Preparation Workbook with the Cloud Operations: vRealize Operations Manager deployment option included. Verify the Prerequisite Checklist sheet in the Planning and Preparation Workbook.
Installation Package	Download the .pak file for the vRealize Operations Manager Management Pack for Storage Devices from VMware Solutions Exchange.
License	Verify that you obtained the vRealize Suite or vCloud Suite license with a quantity that fulfills the requirements of this design.
Workspace ONE Access	Verify that the required Active Directory users are synchronized to the cross-region Workspace ONE Access. Verify that the required Active Directory security groups users synchronized to the cross-region Workspace ONE Access.
Certificate Authority	Verify that the root Active Directory domain controller is configured as a certificate authority for the environment. Download the CertGenVVD tool and generate the signed certificate for the analytics cluster. See Certificate Generation Utility for VMware Validated Design for Software-Defined Data Center 6.x.
External Services	Verify that SNMP is enabled in your network environment to monitor network devices. Verify that Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) or Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) is enabled on each network device for complete monitoring of your environment. Verify that central NTP services are available. Verify that all DNS addresses resolve both forward and reverse.
