To provide identity and access management services to the region-specific SDDC components, you deploy the region-specific Workspace ONE Access instance in the management domain cluster, configure storage, network, and other appliance attributes in Region A.


  1. In a Web browser, log in to the management domain vCenter Server in Region A by using the vSphere Client.

  2. In the Hosts and clusters inventory, expand the tree and expand the sfo-m01-dc01 data center.
  3. Right-click the sfo-m01-cl01 cluster and select Deploy OVF template.
  4. On the Select an OVF template page, select Local file, click Upload files, browse to the location of the Workspace ONE Access OVA file, and click Next.
  5. On the Select a name and folder page, configure the settings, and click Next.

  6. On the Select a compute resource page, select the sfo-m01-cl01 cluster and click Next.
  7. On the Review details page, review the settings and click Next.
  8. On the License agreements page, accept the license agreement and click Next.
  9. On the Configuration page, select Extra Small and click Next.
  10. On the Select storage page, configure the settings and click Next.

  11. On the Select networks page, from the Destination network drop-down menu, select the sfo-m01-seg01 distributed port group and click Next.
  12. On the Customize template page, configure the settings and click Next.

  13. On the Ready to complete page, click Finish and wait for the process to complete.
  14. Power on the Workspace ONE Access appliance.
    1. In the VMs and templates inventory, expand the tree, expand the sfo-m01-dc01 data center, and expand the sfo-m01-fd-wsa folder.
    2. Right-click the sfo-wsa01 virtual machine and, from the Actions menu, select Power > Power on.
