To enable name translation and resolution between the region-specific and the cross-region environments, configure the domain name and domain search parameters on the cross-region Workspace ONE Access cluster nodes.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the cross-region Workspace ONE Access instance by using a Secure Shell (SSH) client.
    Setting Value
    FQDN xreg-wsa01a.rainpole.io
    User name sshuser
    Password cross-region_wsa_sshuser_password
  2. Switch to the super user by running the su command.
  3. Open the /etc/resolv.conf file in a text editor. 
    vi /etc/resolv.conf
  4. Add the following entries to the end of the file and save the file. 
    Domain rainpole.io
search rainpole.io sfo.rainpole.io
  5. Repeat this procedure for the remaining cross-region Workspace ONE Access cluster nodes.
