Deployment of VMware NSX-T Edge Nodes on Bare-Metal Hardware for VMware Cloud Foundation 4.0.x provides step-by-step instructions for deploying a pair of NSX-T Edge nodes on bare-metal servers in а virtual infrastructure workload domain in VMware Cloud Foundation™ with VMware NSX-T Data Center™. Tenant workloads can use the services of the edge nodes for software-defined networking.

Note: Starting with VMware Validated Design™ 6.0, you deploy the SDDC by using VMware Cloud Foundation. VMware Validated Design and VMware Cloud Foundation support the same design for NSX-T Edge nodes. For more design details on the NSX-T Edge integration in the management domain and workload domains, see VMware Validated Design documentation page.
