You create a virtual machine folder and a resource pool on the Workload domain vCenter Server to group and manage vRealize Automation provisioned workloads in Region A.

Procedure

  1. In a Web browser, log in to the Workload domain vCenter Server by using the vSphere Client.

  2. Create a folder for the vRealize Automation provisioned workload virtual machines.
    1. In the VMs and templates inventory, expand the sfo01w01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local tree.
    2. Right-click the sfo01-w01dc data center, and select New folder > New VM and template folder.
    3. In the New folder dialog box, enter sfo01-w01fd-workload as the folder name, and click OK.
  3. Create a resource pool for the vRealize Automation provisioned workload virtual machines.
    1. In the Hosts and clusters inventory, expand the sfo01w01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local tree.
    2. Right-click the sfo01-w01-comp01 cluster, and select New resource pool .
    3. In the New resource pool dialog box, enter sfo01-w01rp-user-vm as the resource pool name, and click OK.
