To ensure the proper operation of the cross-region Workspace ONE Access cluster, increase the CPU and memory resources available to each appliance.
Procedure
- In a Web browser, log in to vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager by using the administration interface.
Setting Value URL https://vrslcm01svr01.rainpole.local User name admin@local Password vrslcm_admin_password - Perform a graceful shutdown of the Workspace ONE Access cluster.
- On the My services page, click Lifecycle operations.
- On the Dashboard page, click Manage environments.
- In the globalenvironment card, click View details.
- In the VMware Identity Manager section, click the ellipsis icon and, from the drop-down menu, select Trigger cluster health.
- On the Trigger health collection dialog box, click Submit.
On the Request details page, the health collection status becomes Successful.
- In the left pane, click Dashboard and click Manage environments.
- In the globalenvironment card, click View details.
- In the VMware Identity Manager section, click the ellipsis icon and, from the drop-down menu, select Power off.
- On the Power off VMware Identity Manager dialog box, click Submit.
On the Request details page, the power off operation status becomes Successful.
- In a Web browser, log in to vCenter Server by using the vSphere Client.
Setting Value URL https://sfo01m01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local/ui User name [email protected] Password vsphere_admin_password - In the Hosts and clusters inventory, expand the sfo01m01vc01.sfo01.rainpole.local tree and expand the sfo01-m01dc data center.
- Expand the sfo01-m01-mgmt01 cluster, right-click the wsa01svr01a virtual machine, and select Edit settings.
- On the Edit settings dialog box, configure these settings and click OK
Setting Value CPU 8 Memory 16 GB - Repeat Step 5 and Step 6 to increase the CPU and memory resources for the wsa01svr01b and wsa01svr01c virtual machines.
- Power on the Workspace ONE Access cluster.
- Back in the vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager user interface, on the My services page, click Lifecycle operations.
- On the Dashboard page, click Manage environments.
- In the globalenvironment card, click View details.
- In the VMware Identity Manager section, click the ellipsis icon and, from the drop-down menu, select Power on.
- On the Power on VMware Identity Manager dialog box, click Submit.
On the Request details page, the power on operation status becomes Successful.
