You can override the default settings for an iOS device and modify the device's roaming permissions. Modifying the default iOS settings to manage roaming status does not apply a permanent restriction. If needed, end users can still manually change these settings.

To override default settings for modifying roaming permissions for an individual iOS device.


  1. Navigate to Devices > List View. Filter by Platform to locate your desired device. Select the device's Friendly Name to view the Details View page.
  2. Select More > Managed Settings.
  3. Select the Enable or Disable radio button to override current Voice Roaming Allowed, Data Roaming Allowed, and Personal Hotspot Allowed settings.
  4. Click Save.
