When Workspace ONE Boxer is used as an unmanaged app and on tapping Open In within the Workspace ONE Boxer, it lists all the available apps including Workspace ONE Send app.

What is the effect of opening an attachment from unmanaged Workspace ONE Boxer into Workspace ONE Send app?

The Workspace ONE Boxer displays Action is not Allowed error.

What happens if the Azure Policy ‘Allow app to receive data from other apps’ is set to false and user tries to open a file in O365 app using Workspace ONE Boxer through Workspace ONE Send?

Does the imported attachment gets saved in the personal location in the O365 app?

ANSWER:

The Azure Policy Prevent Save As decides the location where to save the documents. If the policy to save in O365 app is restricted, then the app displays the Your administrator does not allow saving to Personal Locations error.

QUESTION:

Can the user send corporate document from the O365 app directly to Workspace ONE Boxer without using Workspace ONE Send?

ANSWER:

The file can be sent but will display an error message. You can verify the validity of the file by tapping it in the Workspace ONE Boxer.

QUESTION:

Can the user open attachments from Workspace ONE Boxer into any app if Workspace ONE Send app is not registered or not installed?

ANSWER:

Yes.

Can the user send attachments to third party apps through Workspace ONE Send?

ANSWER:

Yes (iOS 9 and iOS 10). This has been reported to Microsoft.

QUESTION:

Android and iOS Send users are unable to use the Send app due to the ‘Need admin approval’ prompt. Why?

ANSWER:

This issue is due to Microsoft's Azure AD application consent. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/develop/application-consent-experience. End users can provide the admin consent on behalf of the entire Azure tenant by logging in to Send with admin credentials and selecting the option Consent on behalf of your organization.
