As a Workspace ONE UEM, using the Localization Editor settings page, you can personalize the UI text in the system to match internal word choice or regional preferences for all users.

What can you do with the Localization Editor settings page?

The path to the settings page on the UEM console is Groups & Settings > All Settings > System > Localization > Localization Editor.

With the Localization Editor page, you can:
  • Make bulk changes if you want to make a large number of customizations to the labels in the UEM console.
  • Revert any localization changes made back to its original state.

Modify Label Content

Selecting the Modify button displays the Modify Label Content screen.

Settings Description
Locale You can select the locale language of your choice from the drop-down menu.
Template A label key template that lists all the label text fields in the UEM console are available for download in the CSV (comma separated values) format.

Select the Download button to save the CSV template to a local storage space on your device. Open this CSV file with Excel, search and modify the labels of your choice and and save the changes.

Select a file (.csv) After you make the changes to the CSV file, you must upload the file.

Select Choose file to locate the saved CSV file and then select the Upload button. The customizations you made to the CSV file are applied to your Workspace ONE UEM deployment.

Device side label updates take effect after the Internet Information Service (IIS) app pool refreshes on your Device Services server.

You can revert any localization changes made back to its original state. Select the label key you want to revert by clicking its check box and then select Revert.
