What's in the Release Notes?

Workspace ONE Provisioning Tool v3.3

New Features

  • In this release, we’ve made a few updates. Please see the list below:

    • We made it possible to configure timeout in TrackOnly mode.
    • We have added the ability access the Drop Ship Provisioning logs even after a Green screen.
    • Multiple languages are now supported for Drop Ship Provisioning Online.
    • We now ignore on-demand apps during TrackOnly mode. Requires the next release of the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for Windows (v22.03). 

Minimum Requirements

  • The following are the minimum requirements for this release.

    • Windows (for Desktop) v2004 or later
    • VMware Workspace ONE UEM v2101 or later

Resolved Issues

  • We are always working to improve the Workspace ONE Provisioning Tool with every release. There are no major bug fixes to report.

Workspace ONE Provisioning Tool v3.1

New Features

  • In this release, we’ve made a few updates. Please see the list below:

    • The Workspace ONE Provisioning Tool is now an MSI file. Run the listed command to install the tool.
      • msiexec /a VMwareWS1ProvisioningTool.msi /qb TARGETDIR="{target directory}\VMwareWS1ProvisioningTool"
      • You can execute the Workspace ONE Provisioning Tool by running VMwareWS1ProvisioningTool.exe with the available command line parameters.
    • Added a check for updates and the tool auto-updates when there is a new version available.
    • Enhanced the Workspace ONE Provisioning Tool to defer Sysprep using the -k parameter.
    • Added a network check for TrackOnly mode to verify device network availability.
    • Improved log retrieval in TrackOnly mode.
    • Improved application installation status tracking in TrackOnly mode for the Workspace ONE Drop Ship Provisioning (Online) process.
    • Deprecated the automatic installation of the Workspace ONE App Catalog by default from the Workspace ONE Drop Ship (Offline) PPKG.
    • We made updates to support the Factory Provisioning Service v20.11.

Workspace ONE Provisioning Tool v2.3.2

New Features

  • We've added TrackOnly mode.Launch the Provisioning Tool to monitor the Software Distribution queue and to track device-context apps as they are installed from the Workspace ONE UEM console.
