    • We are introducing the ability for customers to enable the tabs that they need for their specific use cases.

    • To hide the Apps and/or the Favorites tab, turn off the toggles in the Hub Services console for those tabs.

    • If you have any of the other tabs configured like People, For You, Support etc., those other tabs will show without the Apps and Favorites tab needing to be shown.

    • If you disable the Apps tab but still have the Favorites tab enabled, Web Links will be the only thing visible on the Favorites tab.

    • There are no changes to Hub Services for this functionality to work it is all on the Intelligent Hub side. If you do make these changes and your clients are on an older version of Intelligent Hub, then all tabs will be disabled for them until the Apps Tab is turned back on. We recommend all users install the latest version of Intelligent Hub 23.04 to see the same user experience.

    • You can use App Clip when you use or create a getwsone.com URL that has additional parameters in it. The App Clip will pick up these parameters and when an end user downloads the Intelligent Hub Application, the Server URL and Group ID will be automatically filled out and the user will not have to type it in.

Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub 22.10 - October 2022

    • Widget support for Web Links

      • We are introducing a Widget for Personal Web Links! To add to your iOS home screen, add a widget by holding down any icon to Edit Home Screen and press the + icon in the top left. Search for Hub and you will see two options for a medium and large size widget. This widget will copy the same order as your Web Links that are in your Intelligent Hub Application.

      • To reorder items in the widget, re-order them in the Intelligent Hub app or on another Hub enabled device.

    • Support for Intelligent Hub for iOS Tab Usage data

      • Pre-requisites: Workspace ONE Intelligence, Intelligent Hub for iOS 22.08

      • Administrators can see the usage data of employees for the Tabs in Intelligent Hub. The benefit of this is to see if users are using all the tabs of Intelligent Hub that have been rolled out for them. Tab usage is a good way to see relative usage of the Hub app but not as good for getting usage data for your company.

      • End users had to explicitly agree to share their usage data with VMware in order for this to show up for administrators in Workspace ONE Intelligence. The upside of this is that end users have complete control over sharing of their usage data. The downside of this is if end users have not decided to share these analytics with VMware, the data will not show in Intelligence.

      • For more information on Intelligent Hub for iOS Tab Usage data, see the link. You can download the JSON and upload it to your Intelligence Dashboard to see this data. The widget will show a breakdown of all the Tabs and their relative usage.

    • Support for viewing End-user Intelligent Hub Notification Engagement Analytics in Workspace ONE Intelligence

      • In this release of Intelligent Hub for iOS, we are supporting End-user Notifications Engagement Analytics so administrators can see how users interact with notifications that they are sent.

      • Administrators can view notification engagement analytics of their end-users' interactions of Intelligent Hub notifications in Workspace ONE Intelligence. This includes notification metrics like viewed, opened, dismissed, and actioned and so on. To enable this ability, authorize the Hub Services connector in Intelligence. You can then build dashboards to visualize the notification engagement analytics. You can also navigate to https://developer.vmware.com/samples to leverage pre-defined notification analytics dashboard templates.

      • Note: Hub notification analytics are collected from the Hub Web portal, Windows Hub, macOS Hub, iOS Hub 22.10 and Android Hub 22.10Bugs Fixed in this App Version.

      • As per our application support policy, with the release of iPadOS 16, this version of Hub is dropping support for iOS 13 and iPadOS 13. The new minimum-supported version of iOS is iOS 14.
