What’s in the Release Notes?

Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for Windows Release Notes describe the new features and enhancements in each release. This page contains a summary of the new capabilities, issues that have been resolved, and known issues that have been reported in each release over the last 12 months.

Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub 22.06

New Features

  • In this release, we have made updates to both the Software Distribution (SFD) and the Intelligent Hub.

    For Software Distribution:

    • Support of Nomad 1E for enhanced P2P functionality
    • SFD Logging Improvements - Log collection restrictions that existed previously have been removed, the end users irrespective of an admin or not, can now collect the SFD logs locally from the Hub app.

    For Intelligent Hub:

    • App samples with no user session
    • Allow User to uninstall apps via Hub catalog NOTE:Requires Hub Services 22.07 release
    • Hub Web Links in Windows Hub
    • Bitlocker - The Hub now forces the end user to enter the pin/password in the Bitlocker pin/password prompt
    • Made improvements to Hub Logging NOTE:Log collection restrictions that were introduced in 22.03 release have been removed. The end users irrespective of an admin or not, can now collect the Hub logs locally from the Hub app.

  • HUBW-7347 Push notification for Windows Intelligent Hub fails: No application found

  • HUBW-7303 Launch of virtual application from HUB is not working

  • HUBW-7287 Refresh vidm Configuration based on the IsVidmConfigured and IsGreenBoxCatalogEnabled response received from UEM

  • HUBW-7286 Secondary drives cannot be unlocked after removing WS1 HUB

Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub 22.03.4

  • In this release, we’ve made a few updates containing general quality and performance improvements with no new features.

Minimum Requirements

    • A Microsoft supported Semi-Annual Channel Windows 11 Build / Windows 11 Version 21H2 + or Windows 10 Build / Windows 10 Version 20H2 +
    • Workspace ONE UEM Console 22.03 or later
    • .NET Framework 4.6.2

Resolved Issues

  • HUBW-7702 Workflows are stuck and do not proceed.

Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub 22.03.3

New Features

  • In this release, we’ve made a few updates containing general quality and performance improvements with no new features.

Minimum Requirements

  • The following are the minimum requirements for this release.

    • A Microsoft supported Semi-Annual Channel Windows Build, version 1909 or later
    • Workspace ONE UEM Console 22.03 or later
    • .NET Framework 4.6.2
    • Windows 10 and Windows 11 supported

    Note: Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for Windows does not support Windows ARM Snapdragon or Hololens devices. These devices must use native MDM functionality.

Resolved Issues

  • HUB-7223 Hub UI stuck on hang on screen if user tries to launch hub UI before registration.

  • HUBW-7182 Bitlocker recovery key is getting logged to taskscheduler.log when Bitlocker is suspended.

  • HUBW-7220 Hub Log size getting larger.

  • HUBW-7148 PC Refresh - Enterprise reset not working as expected.

  • HUBW-7187 BitLocker password for the system drive is lost on the device.

  • HUBW-7224 Set the logging to "Info" by default.

  • HUBW-7184 Unable to enroll Win 10 devices using Intelligent Hub, it gets hung at hang on please wait screen.

Known Issues

  • HUBW-7250 After enterprise reset Hub UI stuck at hang on screen.

Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub 22.03

New Features

  • In this release, we have made updates to both the Software Distribution (SFD) and the Intelligent Hub.

    For Software Distribution:

    • We added the ability to track and report the status when a user uninstalls the application.
    • When a new version of a required app is installed, we no longer consider the older version as a required app.
    • We made some improvements to SFD installation itself.

    For Intelligent Hub:

    • We added Data and Registry Abstraction – LiteDB Migration.
    • HubW optimizations were made to prevent high resource utilization.
    • We improved the HubW enrollment resiliency.
    • We added the ability to use SHA256 signature for all WIN10 components.
    • We made improvements to have structured logging to the HubW, added consistency across several Hub components, and made security improvements.

    NOTE:  As part of new security improvements, when a user who is not an administrator collects the logs from Hub UI or system tray, a subset of the logging data that is specific to this user would be collected instead of the complete logging data which also includes the system logs. To get the complete set of logging data from Windows PCs, administrators should remotely retrieve logs by using the Request Device Log option in the UEM console.

Resolved Issues

  • HUBW-6147 Launching Horizon Apps from the Intelligent Hub (Windows 10) is redirecting to an "Invalid Launch request, please contact your administrator" web page.

  • HUBW-6792 (SFD) Criteria for install complete - Reg DWORD does not parse properly for values bigger than 0x80000000 (Dec 2147483648).

  • HUBW-5892 (SFD) Query | Failed to save Branch cache statistics error on last deployment log.

  • HUBW-6231 Fixed the Bitlocker local enforcement and increase the frequency when the user does not enter the pin.

  • HUBW-6185 The console always shows BIOS Verification Status as Unknown for Dell devices.

  • HUBW-5759 Win10 - Applications are showing reinstallation in Hub over and over.

  • HUBW-6405 The Hub launches with PEO screen post update to UEM console and Hub itself.

  • HUBW 6870 Bitlocker PIN - unable to use the numeric keypad.

  • HUBW-4627 AirWatch service stops upon Hub upgrade from 20.08 to 21.01.

  • HUBW-6109 Push notifications for the Windows Intelligent Hub fails: No application found.

  • HUBW-6637 Win32AgentIPC.exe is visible when trying to launch Hub.

  • HUBW-6795 WS1 Product constantly re-running on multiple devices.

  • HUBW-6801 Product queue is not getting processed for a long time.

  • HUBW-6850 Sensors report "Error" upon Sync.

  • HUBW-6602 When Cx click on the custom tab created inside the intelligent hub, the page is opened in a web browser error is given: "Error! Do not use bookmarked URL".

Resolved Issues

  • HUBW-6599 Fixed an issue where a Windows custom Baseline was not working after upgrading the Workspace ONE UEM console.

  • HUBW-6277 Fixed an issue where a Windows-user-context app that had admin privileges enabled, failed to elevate the session.
