What's in the Release Notes

Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager 23.07 - July 2023

New Features

  • Improved how duplicate credentials are handled from the same provider when Multi-Credential support is enabled.

  • This release of PIV-D Manager includes the latest versions of Yubikey and PSPDFKit SDKs.

  • Enhancements were made for sending a certificate when multi-credential support is enabled.

  • Improvements were made to credential provisioning using persistent token extension.

  • Improvements were made to accessibility, UI, and general product stability.

    Note:

    Workspace ONE Applications, when pushed as managed apps from the App Store or deployed via VPP (Volume Purchase Program) method, are known to have issues on iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 devices. This has been resolved in iOS 15 devices. For more information about how to resolve the issue, see this VMware knowledge base article.

    • Workspace ONE UEM Console 2105 and later

    • Workspace ONE UEM Console 2109 and later required for standalone enrollment

Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager 23.04 - May 2023

New Features

  • Updated to the latest versions for the following vendors SDKs: Entrust, Intercede, and PSPDFKit.

  • Enhanced multiple credential support.

  • Implemented support for multiple YubiKey credentials.

Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager 23.01 - February 2023

New Features

  • Multiple Credential Sets have been added enabling you to use different providers and accessories on a device.

  • Added AuthentX ID by Xtec as a provider.

  • Improved error handling and application configuration.

  • Updated the following vendors SDKs: Entrust, Intercede, and PSPDFKit.

  • Fixed bugs and implemented stability improvements.

Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager 22.10 - November 2022

New Features

  • Added support for iOS and iPadOS Version 16.

  • Implemented configurable user presence protection for the Persistent Device Token extension, also known as CryptoTokenKit Provider. The Configuration Value for Configuration Key: UserPresenceProtection is set to "True" by default. To turn the protection off, set it to False.

  • Now, you can configure ConnectorDeviceIdentifier and ConnectorAppName settings to pass on device identifiers for enabling Workspace ONE UEM connectors. These settings are available for Entrust and Intercede issuance providers.

  • Fixed bugs and implemented stability improvements.

  • Persistent Token Extension, also known as CryptoTokenKit Provider, includes support for the Configuration Value of "True" for the Configuration Key: PIVDPromptForPIN.

  • Updated the interface and improved accessibility.

  • Fixed bugs and implemented stability improvements.

  • Prior Version is Installed: Direct end users to update the app when prompted. The application seamlessly updates over the existing application version without disrupting device enterprise functionality.
