New Features

• In this release, we’ve made a few updates containing general quality and performance improvements with one new feature that introduces support for IP/ CIDR in the Device Traffic Rules.

  Note:

  • This macOS 22.04.2 client supports all existing MDM and Per-App Tunnel features and installation on a Workspace ONE managed device. This client does not support Standalone enrollment.

  • For Standalone enrollment feature, please use the macOS Tunnel client 23.01 application delivered through the Workspace ONE Resources Portal.

Minimum Requirements

• The following are the minimum requirements for this release.

  • OS version 10.15 or later

  • Workspace ONE UEM Console 2203 or later

Resolved Issues

• PPAT-13873: Fixed Tunnel DTR evaluation logic for Block Action.

• PPAT-12963: Improved the connection management to optimize battery consumption.

New Features

• A few improvements were made to rules, support, quality and performance.

  • Improved implementation of Device Traffic Rules for applications that natively cache IP addresses from DNS responses.

  • Added Dark Mode support.

  • General quality and performance improvements.

  Note:

  • This macOS 22.04.1 client supports all existing MDM and per-app Tunnel features and installation on a Workspace ONE managed device. This client does not support Standalone enrollment.

  • For Standalone enrollment feature, please use the macOS Tunnel client 22.05 application delivered through the Workspace ONE Resources Portal.

New Features

• Implemented a new, consolidated user experience. VMware Tunnel now shows in the user's system tray.

Minimum Requirements

• The following are the minimum requirements for this release.

  • Prior Version is Installed: Direct end users to update the app when prompted. The application seamlessly updates the existing application version without disrupting device enterprise functionality.

  • Prior Version is Not Installed: Direct end users to download it from the App Store.

Resolved Issues

• We are always working to improve Workspace ONE Tunnel with every release. There are no major bug fixes to report.
