New Features

• We've integrated DEEM (Digital Employee Experience Management) with the Horizon Mac Client.

  • The DEEM (Digital Employee Experience Management) integration starts with Horizon Mac Client 2306.

  • If your Horizon deployment is Horizon Cloud Next-Gen based, and you have purchased DEEM for Horizon as an add-on, Wi-Fi connection metrics will be collected by Horizon Mac Client and presented under the Network/Protocol Score tab on the  DEEM/Horizon dashboard. 

• We've added Hardware Device telemetry for Mac.

  Hardware Device telemetry includes name, bus type, manufacturer, error code, and last seen.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Requirements for DEEM 23.06 for macOS

  • Digital Employee Experience for macOS package

  • VMware Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for macOS 22.08 or later

  • macOS Big Sur, version 11 or later, on Apple M1 and Intel processors is required to install VMware Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for macOS version 22.08 and later

  • Workspace ONE UEM console 2212 or later

  • Intelligence tenant opted-in and Desktop Advanced Telemetry integration card enable

Resolved Issues

• We are always working to improve DEEM with every release. There are no major bug fixes to report.

New Features

• Introducing the Application's unresponsive or hang time duration feature.

  This feature on macOS provides insight into how long an application is in an unresponsive or hang state. This feature complements the existing application hang which provides a count of application hang events.

New Features

• Introducing the Performance Monitoring for Top 10 Applications feature.

  This feature on macOS allows you to identify the top 10 applications consuming the most CPU, memory, disk, and network usage. This release also extends gathering network quality on macOS, including adapter and firmware information, signal strength, speed, and other common network performance information. 

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Requirements for DEEM 22.08 for macOS

  • Digital Employee Experience for macOS package

  • VMware Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for macOS 22.03 or later

  • macOS 10.15 or newer is required to install VMware Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for macOS version 22.03 or later

  • Workspace ONE UEM console 2206 or later

  • Intelligence tenant opted-in and Desktop Advanced Telemetry integration card enabled

• This release adds official support for Apple silicon and M-based mac hardware as well as optimizing resource consumption of the telemetry component.
