After you set up the integration between VMware Identity Services and your identity provider, you can edit the configuration, if required. Typical updates include regenerating the secret token or extending its lifespan, and updating the identity provider SAML metadata, if necessary.
Procedure
- Log into the Workspace ONE console as an administrator.
- Select .
- Click View on the directory card.
- Click Edit and make your changes in the wizard.
Keep the following considerations in mind:
- Regenerating the secret token
When you regenerate the secret token, the previous token becomes invalid and provisioning of users and groups from the identity provider fails. You must copy and paste the new token to your identity provider.
- Changing the token lifespan
If you change the token lifespan, the previous token becomes invalid and provisioning of users and groups from the identity provider fails. You must regenerate the token, and copy and paste it to your identity provider.
- Updating an expired token
If the secret token expires, the previous token becomes invalid and provisioning of users and groups from the identity provider fails. You must create a new token, and copy and paste it to your identity provider.
- In the last step of the wizard, click Finish to save your changes.
